Recently Departed Celebrities

Actor John Forsythe died of pneumonia on April 1, 2010. Forsythe was a noted film and television actor.

Actor Robert Culp died March 24th after a fall near his home. He was noted for the "I Spy" TV show and also numerous movie rolls.

Actor Peter Graves (March 18, 1926 – March 14, 2010) of "Mission Impossible" fame has died at the age of 83. He is also well know for the movie "Airplane".

Actor Fess Parker (August 16, 1924 – March 18, 2010) actor famous for the Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone TV series.

This is a real bummer for me. Captain Phil Harris, captain ot the Cornelia Maria has died at the age of 53. His story on the Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch made him a famous and wonderful person to watch. We'll post more soon about his tragic death.

Author J. D. Salinger (January 1, 1919 - January 27, 2010) has passed away from natural causes at the age of 91. Salinger is most noted for writing The Catcher in the Rye.

Singer Teddy Pendergrass (March 26, 1950 - January 13, 2011) has passed away at the age of 59. He was paralized in 1982 in a tragic car accident, and died from colon cancer in a hospital near Philadelphia.

Brittany Murphy Dead at 32. Murphy (November 10, 1977 - December 20, 2009) was an American actress and singer. She starred in films Clueless, Girl, Interrupted, 8 Mile, Uptown Girls, Sin City, Happy Feet, and Riding in Cars with Boys. She began her acting career early, at the age of 14. She formerly dated actor Aston Kutcher. She was married to in May 2007, Murphy married British screenwriter Simon Monjack in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. 

Murphy collapsed at home. Paramedics tried to revive her but she was pronounced dead at arrival at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. An autopsy was performed December 21st - results have not been completed.
